christmas, will always have a special place in my heart.
it always warms my heart in a nice fuzzy way;
it reminds me of the hope i have in Jesus,
His Gift of life
it reminds me that i'm lavished upon

tonight, i wish i was in a winter wonderland somewhere
in a room warmed by the fireplace
but most of all, by the warmth of kindredness & love
as we sit huddled around laughing, talking, sharing lives and giving thanks.
a safe haven.

yet i yearn too, to see snowflakes dance on my windowsill again
