desensitized?

life goes on

it's almost strange to see how the world moves on so quickly
like myanmar and china - they're just pages in history
are we all too numbed?
numbed to destruction
numbed to calamity
numbed to suffering

have we become desensitized?

but so much has happened in so short a time
can we really be faulted for reacting this way?

i guess we just, move on.
